L’Oreal Women of Worth – Shaaron Funderburk is a Winner!

L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth Recognizes Gastonia, NC’s Shaaron Funderburk Founder of Off the Streets Program (OTSP)

womanofworthGastonia, NC resident Shaaron Funderburk has been selected as one of the 2014 Women of Worth honorees by L’Oréal Paris for her outstanding work with Off the Streets Program (OTSP). Shaaron founded this nonprofit following her recovery from drug addiction as a way to provide a safe place and support for other women recovering from addiction and homelessness. Shaaron is one of 10 women from across the country to receive the prestigious Women of Worth award this year in acknowledgment of her charitable efforts and perseverance in making a difference in the community.

As a 2014 Women of Worth honoree, Shaaron received $10,000 for her charitable cause and was acknowledged at a distinguished awards ceremony hosted by L’Oréal Paris on December 2, 2014, in New York.
